Lord, I can not...

Here is another printable I made for the sweet ladies at the retreat last weekend-
of the verse Zechariah 4:6.
I love this verse because it is a great reminder
that although we can not, He can!

I printed them out and put them in tiny little frames
(of which I may have a small obsessions with)
from Michael's.

You are LOVED

I had the extreme honor and joy of serving at a retreat last weekend.
The weekend was beautiful, heartbreaking, precious, exhausting, God filled,
full of some of the most amazing women I have ever met,
and a fabulous testament of God's grace, love, and faithfulness.

Each of the precious mamas has lost a child- some having lost more than one.
They are living out every mother's worst nightmare
and my heart just ached for them.
Listening to and hearing the stories of their precious children
who are in heaven playing was incredible and amazing.

I, along with a few of my fabulously talented friends,
was in charge of decorations, gift baskets,
and little treats and goodies for the ladies.
Our goal was to pamper them- to take care of everything that we could for them-
so that they could focus on grieving and healing.

I made a few little printables that I printed and had for the sweet ladies
that I thought some of you might like as well.

This first one is one that I made to lay on their beds along with their
gift baskets to greet them when they arrived.
I wanted them to be reminded how much God loves them-
more than they can ever imagine!

Maybe you- or someone you know- needs this reminder too?

RAOK Boomerang

A sweet reader wrote me recently {Hi Esther!}
and said that she had an idea for a printable.

She's a teacher and there had been some discord among the grade levels
at her campus so she decided to start a RAOK Boomerang!
{Her idea was to do it like the BOO many do at Halloween}

Here's how it works: Someone leaves something in your box and
you pay it forward by leaving a treat in someone else's box.
In order to keep track of who has been RAOKed and to not repeat recipients,
you tape a little note on your box that says, "I've been RAOKed".

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea and made
her a little sign for them to print out and use!

The possibilities with this one are ENDLESS!
You could do this for co-workers, for neighbors, for friends, for family!

Download your own copy HERE and start your own RAOK Boomerang!
{And if you do it I would LOVE to hear about it!}

Sweet Treat Notes

A sweet friend was going to give away some cupcakes for
random acts of kindness so I made her some fun tags to go with them.
Can you think of someone to bless with a sweet treat?
I mean seriously.....who doesn't love cupcakes?

Act Without Expectation

I spoke to some sweet ladies at church tonight about being intentional
about blessing others and it was such a fun evening!

Sharing ideas for acts of kindness is so fun!
I got many more ideas tonight myself from the sweet ladies who attended.

Here's a sweet video that I just love about a kindness boomerang!

This is one of my favorite sayings and
I made a little poster of it as a reminder to myself!

2012 in Review Printable

I love the idea of reflecting on the ending year as much
as I do thinking and planning for the new year ahead.

Here's a fun little printable to help you do just that!

Print it out for each member of your family,
fill it out, and then fold it up, and store it for next New Year's Eve!
Wouldn't it be super fun to start a tradition of doing
one of these each year and storing them in a scrapbook?

2013- Love Big & Pray Big

I so love the beginning of the new year!
Each year in preparation I create something that lists my
goals & hopes for the following year.

These aren't really resolutions, just things I want to remind myself
as I approach the following year.
I pray about the things God has in store for me in the coming year
and ask him to lay those things on my heart.

Here are my hopes for 2013:
My favorites are
Ask God to break your heart for what breaks His
Stop the glorification of the busy
Be a Jesus girl who rises up & unexpectedly gives graces
Be a go giver
and Pray BIG!

Last year a sweet friend took my 2012 page and had it made into a magnet-
which I loved and kept on my refrigerator as a reminder.

This year I decided to turn mine into a poster and hang it in my office.
I so love the way it turned out!
I had this super cute frame that I bought several years ago at an antique store
and it was perfect for it!

Want your own customized copy?
Several friends wanted their very own customized poster
(most with their family name instead of bless)
so if you'd like to purchase your own,
email me (see link in top right corner) and
 I'll tell you the details!

Clear the Stage

My daughter and her dance company danced to this song last night at a dance convention.
I absolutely LOVE the dance- it is absolutely beautiful.
So beautiful that although I've seen them do the dance before,
I cry every single time.

The song is Clear the Stage by Jimmy Needham
and it's a truly amazing song with such a powerful message.
My favorite lyrics are:
Take a break from all the plans that you have made, and
sit home alone and wait for God to whisper

Beg him please to open his mouth and speak and pray for
real upon your knees until they blister

Shine the light on every corner of your life until the
pride, and lust, and lies are in the open

Then read the word and put to test the things you’ve
heard until your heart and soul are stirred and rocked and broken

Cause you can sing all you want to
Oh you can sing all you want to
You can sing all you want to, and still get it wrong
Oh worship is more than a song

We must not worship something that’s not even worth it

Clear the stage, make some space, for the one who deserves it

Don't Make........

Read this quote this weekend and loved it so!
It's so easy sometimes to focus on our prayers instead
of on our Lord who loves us so!
