May Scripture Writing Plan: Friendship

Happy almost May!

The new topical plan for this month is over the topic of Friendship.
Godly friends are so important in my life and I am blessed with some incredible ones.
But friendships are hard- no matter how old you are.
I know that many women struggle with grown up friendships
so I thought spending some time focusing on what God
says about friends would be awesome!

I made the plan 31 days and plan to do that with
all topical plans in the future so that they can be done any month-
not just the month I write them for.

You can find a copy of the plan in English and Spanish
and a plain copy of each in the folder HERE.

At the suggestion of a blog reader, I also decided to do
a fun iPhone lock screen with the plan on it.
You can download a copy of it HERE.

This is the plan for the month of May from last year
which is topical plan on Anxiety/Fear.

You can copies of those plans to print out for yourself in the folder  HERE.
For those that have asked, there is also a blank form
to write your verses on that can be found HERE

Are You Weary?

Are you weary? Is your heart restless? Does your burden seem super crazy heavy?
Do you feel like you are drowning under the tasks and challenges before you?
If you answered yes- know that you are NOT alone.
This world is crazy and life seems to be more and more hectic
and rushed and overly full each day.

Thankfully when we feel overwhelmed and weary,
Jesus bids us to come to Him for He IS indeed rest for the weary.

He says this in Matthew 11:28-30 which says...

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
I love this precious invitation to come to the Lord.
These words are so gentle and sweet and comforting.

I love His promise that IF we will seek him, we will find much needed rest in Him.
The key is...we have to actually seek Him!

My Bible (that I love so very much) is a dual translation with NIV
on one side and The Message on the others.
I absolutely love these verses in The Message that I read this morning.

Learn the unforced rhythms of grace is beautiful said and something I so long to do.

Jesus offers rest on today from any pain, sickness, hurt, anger, abuse,
disappointment, neglect, or sorrow you are dealing with.
So if you are weary, my prayer today is that you (and I) will find rest in Him.
