I love Bibles and have quite a few but y'all this one- may now be my favorite.
The ESV Illuminated Bible- is absolutely gorgeous and truly beautiful!
It's honestly the most beautiful Bible I have ever seen!
It is breathtaking!

It places the full ESV text alongside over 500 elegantly hand-lettered gold ink illustrations by renowned artist Dana Tanamachi. It is printed on thick cream-colored paper and the Bible's single-column text setting and wide margins provide generous space for additional notes, prayers, and designs—inviting readers to creatively engage with and reflect on the beauty of God's Word.

The Bible includes:
  • 9-point, Lexicon
  • Black letter text
  • 2-color printing
  • 64 full-page, custom book opener illustrations
  • 50 full-page verse illustrations
  • 250+ hand-lettered margin verses
  • 100+ other illustrations throughout
  • Illustrated by Dana Tanamachi, whose work has been featured by Google, The Wall Street Journal, Random House, USPS, and Target
  • Thick, cream-colored paper
  • Wide margins
  • Single-column, paragraph format
  • Smyth-sewn binding

It is simply beautiful.
Even the case it's in is gorgeous!
This would make an amazing Christmas gift.

  14. Oh, it's so beautiful to look at. Have been doing studies with you for over a year now. I would want to keep it myself so that when I do my studies I could enjoy the beautiful artwork also, instead of using my paperback Bible I am currently using.

  16. Shannon,
I would give this Bible to my daughter as an incentive to read God's words to help her cope with the loss of her dad who took his life without warning or leaving a note. As our only child, she is struggling to find answers and comfort.
Thank you and may you enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving.

  24. I just found your offer for the beautiful bible. I use an ESV study bible for myself and it has been so much easier for me to study God's word with it.
I go to church by myself because my husband and I are not from the same backgrounds and not the same faith. My prayer to God is that someday we will go to church as a couple. I would love to hand him this bible and pray that it would become something that he would love, cherish, and use.

  30. This would be a Christmas gift to my oldest brother.. who by the way, lost his wife this past February. They had been married 22 1/2 years. He also relocated 164 miles West.. so to move in with our oldest sister. We have had a huge reflection on all this and moreso, given we were all split apart at an early age when our parents divorced. So it is bittersweet this year. God bless.

  60. I know that this is too late for the give-away, but I have been searching for a bible for my daughter that has cystic fibrosis and has had a couple of trying years. She is in the hospital more than she is out and is struggling with life/death questions. "Why me?" etc. She has recently (last 3-4 months) started asking me questions about the Lord. I am new to the word and walking my own path. I am unsure how to help her, but know that the answers are in the word. I have had my sights on this exact bible for many months, thinking this would be a beautiful heirloom to give to her. Any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Blessings to you. I love this site and come here often.

  65. My name is Amy and I would give this Bible to my adult daughter. She just survived two of the most difficult years of her life due to rebellion and all that brings a person. At one point she was living in her car because she was too ashamed to tell us the mess she had made of her life. Through prayer and obedience to God, we have her back now, she is in a stable place and is beginning to thrive again. She told me she doesn't have a Bible that she really understands when she reads it, so I would like to give her one for Christmas.
