CREATOR not Critics Count

I spent much of yesterday ridiculously dwelling
 on an hurtful/unkind-ish email
 (non-work related FYI) I was sent yesterday.

{Why is it that we can get 1,000 kind comments but the one
we tend to focus on is the single UNkind one? }

As I've read and prayed about it I've been reminded of what I KNOW to be true...
that my audience, my true audience, is Him and NO ONE else.
I am thankful for that truth and for sweet friends who remind me of that truth when I forget.

Galatians 1:10 says...
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?
Or am I trying to please people?
If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

  4. Oh hon! I'm so sorry there are nasty people that live to criticize. I love to get your posts - they usually speak to a need I have at that very moment. Keep your focus on God and let Him handle the critics

  7. I'm sorry you had to deal with an unkind person. I want you to know that I appreciate you and your faithfulness to God inspires me. I also appreciate your scripture writing plans, thank you for making that available for us. Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

  8. Shannon, I pray for God's richest blessings on the work of your hands and your heart! Your Daily Scripture Writing Plans have completely transformed my daily quiet time and helped me to put new focus on The Word. The Facebook page I created which centers on sharing the plans and how they speak to individuals on a daily basis continues to grow and blesses me everyday!!! (https://www.facebook.com/groups/798001910346230/).
    Today's writing assignment addresses exactly the situation you wrote about a couple of days ago, esp. these 2 verses: “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua‬ ‭1:5, 9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
    Hang in there, sister!! He who began a good work in you won't leave you in it alone!!! Much love and prayers for you!!
