February Scripture Writing Plan 2016

When I started creating the scripture writing plans for each month
I had NO idea how much others would like them.
The response since the December one went semi-viral has been amazing!

So so so many sweet emails & FB messages sharing how much they are enjoying
the plans and how God is using it in their lives.
I LOVE hearing how God is using my tiny works for His good
and He has been so sweet to show me!

For those who did the January Scripture Writing Plan and enjoyed it,
here's the plan for the month of February!

All of the verses this month have to do with LOVE.
God has so much to say about LOVE that it was hard to just choose 29 days worth!

You can find a copy to print out for yourself in the folder HERE.

For those that have asked, there is also a blank form
to write your verses on that can be found HERE

Thanks to a sweet reader you can also find the Spanish version HERE.

Another sweet reader is using the plans with her students and asked for a shortened version, with only one or two verses, for her younger students. That version can also be found at the link above!

  1. I love your monthly scripture writing plans! They are a wonderful way to make sure I get into my bible each day. I came across your December plan quite by accident, and loved the idea of it so much that I shared it and each days scripture on my own blog (ataleofatrex.wordpress.com). The response was overwhelming! People were searching for your scripture writing plan every day. I did the same thing with your January plan, and again the response has been overwhelming. People are searching for the Word, and are finding it through your scripture writing plans. It's awesome! Thank you for posting these each month. I hope you keep them going. Have a wonderful day! Heather

  8. I discovered the December one through a facebook post and was wondering what I would do in January. I was thrilled to discover the Jan one and I really have made a discipline of sitting down with Gods word every day, writing it down and praying it through. Thank you for thinking of doing this and I've just downloaded the plan for February.

  9. I too am loving your writing plans! I have been sending the verses out via email to my bible study group while we have been on break between semesters and also posting them to FB. Your writing plans also inspired me to write one of my own to write through 1 & 2 Thessalonians before my church bible study starts the study of the books. Thank you for all of your hard work! It has been a blessing to many!

  15. Have enjoyed using your scripture writing plans, December and January. However, today as I was preparing to write the scripture passage for today, alas it stated, "Romans 18:18-25." Know this is a typo as there are only 16 chapters in the book of Romans. What should have it stated?

Please email me at kathylundberg2006@yahoo.com with the correct passage. If not, I'll select one of my own.

Thanks for these plans, they are totally awesome!

    1. Hi Kathy,
You are using an old one. This is the update version without the mistake! I update them each month to correct any mistakes so it would be good to work from the most recent version!

  18. Thank you so so much for doing these! I first started on December's plan and it has helped me tremendously. I was really struggling for a while spiritually and writing scripture has helped put me back on track. Every day has been a blessing but Jan 22nd was amazing for me! We've been dealing with a lot of issues in our home after just buying it 6 months ago and I was struggling with some frustration and anger issues towards the previous owners for saying that everything was good and in functioning order when this wasn't the case, and also at the inspector for not doing his job. Anyway, I was talking to a friend that morning and she asked how I was doing. I told her I was *trying* to leave everything in the Lord's hands. Shortly after our conversation, I sat down to do my writing. It was exactly what I needed that day at exactly the right time. I also read a daily devotional and that was spot on as well and went hand in hand with the scripture plan for that day. Not only that, but the studying that my friend was doing that day went with it too! I was amazed at God's sovereignty and how he truly knows exactly what we will need and when and through divine appointment, had you write the plan just as you did, had the author of the devotional write the day the way she did and so on. We serve an amazing Lord! Sorry for the wordiness. Just had to share. :)

  19. I am tremendously thankful for your verse writing study! It has added a much needed dimension to my time with God each day. Some days it even leads me into further word and/or scripture study.

  20. Recently found these and have been writing them out daily, which has really help aliviate the arthritis in my hand. :)

  21. thank you so much for these! Is there any way to down size these to fit in my 5x7 BuJo? I have tried not very successfully to do this for Dec and Jan but it takes MUCH brain power for this old soul :) Any tips? Thanks again for your time and efforts!!

  23. Thank you, Shannon, I love your scripture writing plans. I started with the December one after a friend posted on FB. I've been sitting down and writing them (almost :-)) everyday!

  24. I have always struggled to find a devotional that I actually stick with and encourages me to dig deeper. This plan is so simplistic and almost therapeutic that I feel like I can finally meditate on scriptures without getting frustrated. Your writing plan has helped me grow in the word and really begin to LOVE reading my Bible. Thanks so much! Blessings to you!

  28. This is an answer to a prayer of over 30 years! I have been a Christain for a very long time, but had not found a way to be in scripture everyday that fit me. I love the art of handwriting and I am also a visual learner so the 31 Day Scripture is a perfect fit for me!! Thank you for doing this. From reading the comments it is touching many people to be in His word. Awesome ministry!

  29. Thank you for doing these! I saw the December one but too late to do the month so I waited until January. It has been such a blessing to start my morning writing my scriptures that are so relevant and personal to me. God is using you to do a very good thing. Thank you for being His hands and feet!

  30. To echo everyone else - Thank you for doing these! January has been awesome. I have looked forward to every morning when I get to get up and write the Word of God. I LOVE that you have created a shortened version - I wanted my girls to do this with my (8 and 10) but knew they wouldn't last as long as some of the verses. (I could just hear all the whining - 'my hands hurts'!) The shortened version is fantastic and I am printing them now to give them. Thanks again for all you do!

  32. I found your Jan writing plan while going through an extremely difficult period. While I am still on my journey I just wanted to say that I'm sure finding that plan was by His will and the scriptures have greatly ministered to me day by day. Thank you for your work and sharing so freely. God bless!

  33. I love these!!! I've been using your plans since November! Thank you so much for putting them together!!

  34. Thank you so much for leading us through the scriptures with this writing plan. I came across it on FB in December. I have passed it on to our homeschool encouragement FB group. I do not get the sighs that I once did from my children when I tell them it is time to do their copy work and practice their handwriting. Not only is the handwriting improving, but the scriptures are being written on their hearts. Thank you.

  35. Thank you so much for creating these copy work exercises. I began in December, continued in mid-January (it took me a while to find it!) and was hoping February's was available. I miss a day here and there, but it's always a blessing to copy God's Word and to take time to think about it as I'm copying. Thank you again. You've blessed my life.

  36. Thank you so much for this! My 10 year old and I are enjoying this. She was a little overwhelmed so I gave her the short version this time. I think she'll enjoy that much better! God bless!

  37. I found December's via the Facebook page Beautifully Broken Mama, and I loved it. Writing out things was always the way I studied, the way I learned. Writing the verses down physically with a pen on paper roots the verses in my heart somehow and I am more easily to recall them when I need them.
This exercise also gave me the freedom to be able to practice writing Devotionals, as one day I dream of publishing a book of Devotionals one day and this is exactly what I need to draw close to God and to get back into the swing of writing again.
It also allowed me the freedom to pour out my heart to God in writing. I've never done this before, and how liberating it is!!!
You see, two years ago I was in the hospital, fighting for my life. I have, among many other things, damage to my brain. I have trouble remembering things, names, events. I also forget, in the middle of a conversation, not only what I am saying at that moment, but I also forget that I am actually having a conversation! Writing down what my heart is pouring out to God helps me remember where I am, it helps me remember what I prayed for prior, and as a writer, if feels *normal* to me.
All because you guys started this awesome program. May God bless as you continue to serve Him in this manner.
    Your sister in Christ,
    Donna Isnor

  49. Good Morning 😊 thank you for bringing scripture writing to our attention. As I was writing this morning the Holy Spirit show me the importance of writing scripture. There will come a day when it will be illegal to have a bible. We will turn to what we have written in notebooks and tablets to continue to honor the Word of God and to keep his Word in the forefront of our mind and hearts.

  50. Thank you so much for posting these daily Scripture verses! I started in January after a friend posted in FB. Using your suggestions has given me a new focus to begin each day with God in a new way. As a teacher I know how reading and writing imprints content in the brain, and this method has helped me keep the daily teaching in my mind all day. May God continue to bless your ministry!

  51. Please continue sharing these amazing scripture plans- these have made such a difference to my life and have been a great way to share the Word with friends and family! Many have joined in this "challenge" after sharing your January plan, and I can't thank you enough for your generosity!

  52. Thank you so much for your Bible Writing plan. I ran across it quite by accident on my Facebook page and went to your link right then and printed out a copy. I went back to the FB page where I thought I had seen it and could not find it but fortunately I had the printed copy with your blog address. :) As a past homeschooling mom (now my daughter homeschools her 4) I had seen the benefit of having my daughter write out a passage for her copywork. I did not do it with her so I didn't realize the other benefits (meditation, etc.) I was excited to see your plan. But as I started writing the scriptures for myself, I was amazed at how the Lord spoke to my heart so strongly - more strongly than just reading it. I understand more clearly about and benefited from meditating on God's Word. We get so busy that sometimes we read our "obligatory" (or so it gets to be sometimes) scripture passages. Writing slows us down so we can savor each Word and the Lord has time to do His work in us through His Word. I hope you continue to publish more months. Thank you again so much - Bev

  53. I can't even begin to tell you how blessed I am by these monthly devos. I came across it in January at a time in my life when I was headed for the pit, and God lead me to this. Even when I miss a couple days, I jump back in and catch up on my writing it seems it was what I needed at that time. Thank you so much for posting these. I have especially been blessed by all the LOVE scriptures and the reminders to love one another! ❤️❤️

  54. Thank you so much for these plans. A friend shared the January plan and then the February plan. I started on Feb 1. I loved it so much I finished February in the first week or so. This is the first time I've been excited to get into the Bible so I went back and I am now doing January! I can not wait for March! I've been praying that God would give me something to motivate me to get into the word for so long I feel like these plans are my answer! Thank you so much for take time to do this!
