Thanksgiving Scripture Writing

When I started creating my Bible Study & Prayer Journal
one of my very favorite parts was the scripture writing section.

A few months ago I started writing out scriptures
and found that I absolutely LOVE it- for two reasons.

For one, it helps me memorize scripture which I so desperately want to do.
In the days before and directly after my surgery last year,
I was so thankful for the scriptures I had memorized
because they are what I repeated over and over and over again
to myself during those scary and pain-filled days.
After surgery I couldn't read or do anything on a computer or ipad
{because it really hurt my head} and so those scriptures comforted me.
Since then I've really worked on memorizing more scripture and
I've found that writing them down really helps me to memorize them.

Secondly, I love writing them down because it really helps me to
think about and specifically focus on a set of scriptures.
It's a great time to listen to God's voice and truly only takes a few minutes a day.

Since Thanksgiving is quickly approaching,
{and I heart Thanksgiving}
I decided to make a set of Thanksgiving Scripture Writing Verses
to use and to share with YOU!

Each verse only takes about 10 minutes to copy
and I've included the verse list as well
as a page to write the verses on if you'd like it.

Click the image below or HERE to download your own copy!
Praying it blesses you!

  2. When my mom's alzheimer's got really bad and we realised she couldn't stay at home anymore, I started art journaling the scriptures. http://www.pinterest.com/fatcatpaulanne/my-art-journal-pages/ since then, I've done about 700 pages .... :-)

  8. Excellent activity! Families should go back to the ancient traditions and teach their children about the Bible and in this occasion, about this holiday that is been transformed into consumerism and the real sense of thanks is set on the side or even expelled from life.
For sure, if parents would dedicate more time educating their children, the moral and family values would increase
and the crime rate would decrease.
