Monday Morning Question of the Day

or

Do you find it's easier for you to say

Yes or No

when someone asks you to do something?

Does it depend on who is asking you?

1. When your spouse asks?

2. When your kids ask?

3. When a co-worker asks?

4. When a friend asks?

For me, it is easier to say yes.

Always easier to say yes.

Although I am learning, slowly and baby step by baby step

to say no sometimes.

As a people please, that is HARD.

What about you?

  1. For me, it definitely depends on who is asking as much as what they're asking me to do.
If it was you or my husband - I would more likely say yes, as long as it was something within reason.
If it were my kids, there is the distinct possibility I would say no - b/c they are ALWAYS asking for me to do stuff. I could FILL MY DAYS catering to their every whim if I didn't say no sometimes.
As for co-workers, if they're asking me to do something work-related, I'm on it.

  2. I used to be a big yes person and it is still hard for me to say no at times. But I have learned, for the most part, where my limits are.

It still does depend a lot on who is asking also.

  3. I was always a very big yes person in the past. Particularly when it came to my kid's school, church, social activities.

I can say no now if the need be. I know what I feel like doing, what I want to do and things I just cant commit to doing.

  4. For the most part, Mitch says yes to everything that I ask for. I am spoiled that way, I am not ashamed to admit it. I say yes when I feel it is appropriate. I do know how to say no, and do it quite often and effectively these days!

  5. I am a yes girl.
Rarely do I ever tell anyone "no."
