July Scripture Writing Plan: Obedience {& a GIVEAWAY!}

Happy almost July friends!
The new topical plan for this month is over the topic of Obedience.

If you ever struggle with doing what God calls you to do- this plan is for you!
My prayer is that every verse will be a reminder of God's commands and promises to us.

I made the plan 31 days and plan to do that with
all topical plans in the future so that they can be done any month-
not just the month I write them for.

You'll notice the plans got a little makeover this month.
I added the check boxes to help you mark off as you complete the verses
and decided it was time to make the look a little cleaner and simpler too!

You can find a copy of the plan in English and Spanish
in the folder HERE.

At the suggestion of a blog reader, I also decided to do
a fun iPhone lock screen with the plan on it.
You can download a copy of it HERE.

This is the plan for the month of  July from last year
which is topical plan on Patience and Perseverance.

You can download a copy in the folder HERE.

At the urging of some blog readers, I've also created a long version of the plan this month
and placed it in my ETSY store HERE.

It a 127 page printable digital file that includes:
-The 31 Day Scripture Writing Plan on the topic of Obedience
-A page for each day with the verse written out in NIV version with space for you to write the verse
-A page for each day with the verse written out in The Message with space for you to write the verse
-A page for each day to write observations, keywords, and takeaways from the verses
-A page to write next steps, prayers, and applications from the verses
-A page with six printable obedience verse cards

Here are a few sample sheets:

It's perfect to print and bind or put in a notebook.
It would also be great to print and give someone as a gift!

Giveaway: Leave a comment below of what topic you hope will be next month
and I'll choose one winner to get a free copy of the long plan!

Coupon Code: And to celebrate summer, use the coupon code HAPPYSUMMER
for 20% off of your purchase in my ETSY store, Sweet Blessings, from now until July 7th!

  2. Perseverance...when God seems to say "no" to our prayers and hopes. Understanding that His plan is bigger and there is a reason to press forward even though things did not go as you prayed for.

  10. Blessed and not bitter. With all the things we have to endure as Christians it's good for others to see that, even the hard times lead to blessings or can be blessings in disguise; just depends on how you look at things.

  14. Thank you thank you for the time you take to research and set up these plans for us. Your haed work has been one of the few key things that have helped my growth in the past year. I'm not sure if you've done one on leadership/discipleship? But to be honest, whatever you choose i know will help me continue growing! May God continue to lead and bless you.

  38. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us. I LOVE your scripture writing plans. I am at a loss for ideas, but maybe something related to hope surrounding dreams/expectations we've had to let go of (i.e. God's plans are far greater than our plans/dreams/etc).

  39. I'm excited to dive in to my first month doing your scripture writing plan. I found you today (7/2) so I'll do 2 days worth today and be caught up! I haven't looked back to see what topics you've covered already, but my word for this year is joy, so I'd pick that as a topic.

  40. Frist of all, thank you for taking the time to put these together!! I share them with others often! I think for August, I always think of it as a new beginning month with the starting of school. So, foundations for new Christians, or new to studying the Word.

  43. Hey Sweets! I am assuming you've done the giveaway for the long version already. I am late starting because I am recovering from surgery and just finished JUNE yesterday!
I went to the Etsy store to see how much the kit was and if I could afford it, and also figure out how to print or size it (unlike you I am technologically challenged at the best of times and with all the medications and pain, it is worse than usual). It doesn't show as available for purchase. Is that because it is after the first of the month or aren't you selling them at all? Thanks for any help you can provide. I have really enjoyed these scripture writing plans and am very grateful to you for all the work you've put in making them for us. May God bless you and your family!

  45. anxiety/worrying. I have so much anxiety about my daughters anxiety over starting a new school this coming fall. her first year of school she had multiple panic attacks daily. Last year she had an amazing year but this coming year I'm scared cause she's having to change schools. 7 yr olds shouldn't have to deal with this. I pray daily she and I can be strong through all this.

    thanks, Julie S.
