September Scripture Writing Plan 2016

NOTE: If you are having trouble downloading the Sept. pages at the links below (which are shared exactly the same way as all the others so I have NO clue why?) I'm so sorry. I have checked each one at least ten times and they are shared correctly. So I've placed a second copy in the folder HERE

Happy, happy, happy almost September!

Once again- thank you from the bottom of my heart
to those that have emailed me this month to
tell me how much you like these little scripture writing plans!

I try to respond to each email but please know if I don't that I
seriously LOVE hearing stories of how families,
and Sunday School groups, and churches, and friends,
and even prison groups
are working through the plans together.
GOD is so cool how He uses our simple works for HIS good and glory!
I loved hearing stories of how the topic for this month was so needed for so many.

Here is a portion of one of my favorite emails lately about the scripture plans:
Thank you for investing time to provide a resource that pushes me and many others to have a deeper relationship with the Lord. Each day I read the passage, copy the passage, and then I may write out a prayer in response, do a further study of certain key words or passages that stand out to me, or write it using different hand lettering fonts. A few weeks ago my husband told me he would like for our family to start having more consistent time together in the Word, so I shared with him my notebook and what I have been doing. He liked it so much he started copying the passages and bought our sons notebooks to begin the plan as well. We are using the plan as a family, each copying the passage daily, and sitting down together on Thursday evenings to talk about the passages that impacted us the most. We have a 14 year old son and a 12 year old son and having this time together in the Word is an awesome time for our family. Thank you!
My husband and I also teach the College and Career class at our church. Last summer we did a series with them on fear and anxiety, sowhen we saw that the copying plan for this month was on the same topic we decided to challenge that group to participate with us. We provided notebooks and the plan to them on Sunday, May 1st and started that day in class. There are several of them faithfully following along and it has provided fruitful conversation in our class time as well as challenged them to be spending time daily in the Word.

This month I felt it would be good to do a general plan- so no specific topic for September!

Quick NOTE: When doing the monthly plans (especially the topical ones)
I may occasionally repeat verses- since they are appropriate for more than one topic.
Please know that I work to keep repeats to a minimum
(I actually keep a big old spreadsheet to keep from having too many repeats)
but occasionally it will happen!

You can find a copy to print out for yourself in the folder HERE.
They are in the folder alphabetically- so scroll to the bottom for Sept!

For those that have asked, there is also a blank form
to write your verses on that can be found HERE

Thanks to a sweet reader you can also find the Spanish version HERE.

Another reader asked for a version that was more manly (for her husband)
so you can also find that version HERE

And many of you asked for a shortened version and
another sweet reader picked those verses so we have one this month!

  6. Hi Shannon:
It's not working the same way it normally does....I don't see September either...it stops at November, nothing beyond that....I'm not sure if it's our files or not, I'll keep trying...

  7. Shannon,
I love the writing plans and incorporate them into my Miracle Morning, but I only see November plan in the Google drive area. Not sure why on your end they appear and on ours they do not. Can't wait to print out Septembers. Please let us know if you find out what the issue is. Thank you.

  8. hi! I love your scripture plans! I am having the same problem as the others. November is the only month showing up and there is nothing to scroll to at the bottom. I tried the direct link as well. I'll try again later! Thank you so much for preparing these every month!

  9. I do see 2 for September, but only the plain one and the Spanish one. (I feel very picky and petty for wanting the pretty one!) We are writing these with our Sunday School class members and then discussing them every week. I like how you have chosen large chunks to write a few verses every day. T

  10. Thank you so much for doing this....I did not remember to look for an August plan and frankly, I probably REALLY needed it for August. Lots of stress and medical stuff happening here-but hopefully we are on the upswing. I am so ready to tackle September's verses and get myself back in the word. God Bless you.

  12. Thank you, thank you for this! Exactly what I was looking for to get my kiddos in the Word themselves in a simple but effective way... and without me having to do the planning!

  15. I can't thank you enough for this! When I was in school I always studied by rewriting my notes. It never occurred to me to do this with the Word. I don't know why I didn't think of it myself but you and God did and I am so grateful!!

  16. I have been waiting on the Lord to give me verses to pray over my newly widowed mother. When I turned to Psalm 121 today, I started crying because these are the verses He has answered me with. Thank you for being His hands and feet today!
