Pray

Thank you so very much for the precious comments
 and emails and most especially for your prayers.
I appreciate and treasure each and every single
one more than you could possibly know.
I am humbled by your kind words, your sweet prayers,
and the scriptures you share with me.
I am truly blessed.

I promise to write Part 5 soon
(writing each one is a little harder than I thought it would be)
but I wanted to share a song that I have listened to
countless times in the past few weeks.

It's beautiful and it's words are so very true.

Such a great reminder that when we don't know what to say,
we can always pray to our Heavenly Father.
Because He is ALWAYS there
and knows our hearts
and our every need.

And I don't know about you, but I am so so so very thankful.

  1. Praying for you as you walk this path God has put before you. He holds you in the palm of his hand.Isaiah 41:10'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand' Isaiah 43:2 - "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you." (NASB) This verse has been a favorite of mine when I have gone through the deep waters of a trial. So comforting to know and be reminded that God is right there every step of the way.

  2. I'm praying for you as you go through this valley. When I went through one of my own a few years ago, I clung to Phillipians 4:6 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God'. He hears you, He loves you, and He will never leave you.

  4. Shannon...
    Hi...you don't know me, but your blog captured my attention, as I, too, am a teacher and lover of Jesus. But what a testimony you have. I have added you to my daily prayers and what with bated breath for God's grace to deliver you through this.
    Ps 121:
    "I lift my eyes toward the mountains.
    Where will my help come from?
    My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

    He will not allow your foot to slip;
    your Protector will not slumber.
    Indeed, the Protector of Israel
    does not slumber or sleep.

    The Lord protects you;
    the Lord is a shelter right by your side.
    The sun will not strike you by day
    or the moon by night.
    The Lord will protect you from all harm;
    He will protect your life.

    The Lord will protect your coming and going
    both now and forever."

    I didn't connect that your 'tech' info. was the same person sending the heartfelt illness story until now.
    Blessings to you. xo Kathy

  5. Shannon,

    I am so sorry to hear this sad news. As a sister in Jesus, I have already begun to pray for you and your family as you walk this path toward healing. Psalm 91 has always been a blessing to me in difficult times - I pray that it helps you too. Rest in Jesus tonight.

    Praying often,

    Candy
