It's the last week of school {woo hoo} and so I'm compiling a list of books to read this summer.
Thanks to Dory's suggestion, I just finished the Hunger Games series
{so very good although so not something I would normally read but I loved them}
and am reading a book about the Casey Anthony case right now.
So tell me............
what are some books I should read this summer?

The Help
ReplyDeleteBackseat Saints
The Time Travelers Wife
Heaven Is For Real
ReplyDeleteOne Second After by William Forstchen
ReplyDeleteStephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich
Protecting the Gift by Gavin de Becker
Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell
Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan
A Tailor-Made Bride by Karen Witemeyer
The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson
I just started Kite Runner. Looks good so far.
Kite Runner was amazing. Anything by Barbara Kingslover makes fantastic summer reading. I love her style of writing. If you want a humerous book that will be good for short sessions at the pool, check out "It Sucked and then I cried: How I had a baby, a meltdown and a much neede margarita." Enjoy! -Shannon B.

ReplyDeleteA must read for any woman.
Finished Kite Runner a while back, and just remembered I posted it on your blog. It is a sad story with some horrifying things happening to children. I probably would not have read it if I had known more about it.
ReplyDeleteI am, however, currently reading George W Bush's Decision Points, and am really enjoying a glimpse into the presidential life, and his decision-making in particular.
