Monday Morning Question of the Day

It's the last week of school {woo hoo} and so I'm compiling a list of books to read this summer.
Thanks to Dory's suggestion, I just finished the Hunger Games series
{so very good although so not something I would normally read but I loved them}
and am reading a book about the Casey Anthony case right now.

So tell me............
what are some books I should read this summer?

  3. Kite Runner was amazing. Anything by Barbara Kingslover makes fantastic summer reading. I love her style of writing. If you want a humerous book that will be good for short sessions at the pool, check out "It Sucked and then I cried: How I had a baby, a meltdown and a much neede margarita." Enjoy! -Shannon B.

  4. Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral

    A must read for any woman.

  5. Finished Kite Runner a while back, and just remembered I posted it on your blog. It is a sad story with some horrifying things happening to children. I probably would not have read it if I had known more about it.

    I am, however, currently reading George W Bush's Decision Points, and am really enjoying a glimpse into the presidential life, and his decision-making in particular.

  6. Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers
