I've always known that I am blessed with some of the most wonderful friends and family EVER but last night was absolute proof positive of that fact. I'm still almost speechless about the amazing 40th birthday surprise party held for me last night.
The sweet friends that worked together from near and far to plan it, the planning and thought that went into it, the precious details that made me cry, the fun that was had, the laughter that was shared, was almost more than my heart can take.
The fact that my sweetest friend Dory surprised me by flying here a day ahead of schedule, got picked up by my sweet friend Jamee at the airport, and was the one who opened the door at the party, made the evening truly priceless. I can't tell you how incredible it was to have almost all the people who I love in the same place, at the same time.
I want to tell you all the details soon, but today- and for the next several days- I'll be too busy playing with sweet Dory and having lots and lots of fun. But I promise to be back soon with pictures and details!

I am so glad she pulled it off. What an absolutely wonderful surprise. Have a great couple of days, can't wait to hear all about it soon!
