May Scripture Writing Plan 2016

Thank you to those that have emailed me this month to
tell me how much you like these little scripture writing plans!

I try to respond to each email but please know if I don't that I
seriously LOVE hearing stories of how families,
and Sunday School groups, and churches, and friends
are working through the plans together.
GOD is so cool how He uses our simple works for HIS good and glory!

This month I felt very strongly that I needed to do a set of verses on a specific topic
and so I chose a topic that so many, myself included, struggle with:
Anxiety/Fear.

God mentions the phrases "fear not", “do not be afraid”,
“do not fear”, and “be not afraid” many, many times in the Bible.
Obviously He knew we would struggle with anxiety to include it so many times!
(Want to see them all? Check out this great list!)

So for those following along, here's the plan for the month of May.

You can find a copy to print out for yourself in the folder HERE.

For those that have asked, there is also a blank form
to write your verses on that can be found HERE

Thanks to a sweet reader you can also find the Spanish version HERE.

The sweet reader who picks the verse for the short version for her students
hasn't sent them back to me yet- but as soon
as she does I promise to post that version here!

Another reader asked for a version that was more manly (for her husband)
so you can also find that version HERE

GOOD News 4/21/16

I love happy stories.
You know, those happy, inspiring, tear producing stories that
remind you there IS good in the world!
I LOVE those so very much!
I love them so much that I seek them out
daily to remind me of the good in people.

I share lots of those types of stories on Facebook
but here are a few of my favorites from the past week!

Get your Kleenex- this is a tear jerker!
These sweet kids surprise their cancer- stricken
teacher with "I'm Gonna Love You Through it!"
Watch their sweet faces!

Two undergrads at the University of Washington
created gloves that turn sign language into speech. How cool is that?

These high school students surprise one of their biggest fans
to show him how much he means to them.

After their friend was diagnosed with cancer, 80 students, 3 female teachers, and both male principals and even a student's mom- shaved their heads!

This Russian teen born without fingers is now a celebrated piano player!
I have zero excuses for saying I can't do something!

Pets visiting their ill owners in the hospital?
Brilliant and probably the BEST medicine EVER!

Watch as this police officer teaches
a homeless little girl to play hopscotch.
Adorable!

This laundromat owner spent every night for a week
washing 1,000 pounds of homeless people's laundry.
What if we all loved like that?

I'm a sucker for any video of little ones.
This one- of this cutie saying the Lord's Prayer?
PRECIOUS!

You are NEVER too old to learn something new. NEVER.
And this 85 year old who took up tap dancing- is proof!

What these total strangers on a Southwest flight did
for this man's dying flight attendant sister?
Absolutely precious.

This precious grandma waved at the bus every day as it went past.
Then she got a big surprise! So sweet!

This story? Amazing!
Ex-homeless man gives $10,000 to high school
after 2 teens buy him a ticket home!

They are backpacking through Europe-
and taking their disabled friend with them.
Carrying him on their backs!

If the station had closed the girl would have had to walk 73 minutes every morning to catch a 9am train in a neighboring town. So instead- they kept it open till she graduated!
