GOOD News 3/30/16

I love happy stories.
You know, those happy, inspiring, tear producing stories that
remind you there IS good in the world!
I LOVE those so very much!
I love them so much that I seek them out
daily to remind me of the good in people!

I share lots of those types of stories on Facebook
but here are a few of my favorites from the past week!

This precious young man saved his money
and paid off his grandparents mortgage
and sent them on a trip. PRECIOUS!

This precious girl was born unable to walk or speak.
But that doesn't stop her!

Her goal was to score a goal
with the help of her favorite player, Duncan Keith.
And she did!

This Wisconsin teacher made the life-changing
announcement that she was going to donate a kidney to her 1st grade
studentand this is the moment the grandmother found out!
Be sure and grab a Kleenex!

This 11 year old throws a Thank You party for police.
So sweet!

This 8 year old violinist excels beyond measure despite
a hand disability.  This adorable girl does not know the word CAN'T!

This. This is what we should all be doing.
LOVE x 1,000,000,000.

April Scripture Writing Plan 2016

Can you believe it's already almost April?
This year is FLYING by!

Thank you to those that have emailed me this month to
tell me how much you like these little scripture writing plans!

I try to respond to each email but please know if I don't that I
seriously LOVE hearing stories of how families,
and Sunday School groups, and churches, and friends
are working through the plans together.
I've heard from people literally all over the world using the plans.
SO stinkin' neat!
GOD is so cool how He uses
our simple works for HIS good and glory!

So for those following along,
here's the plan for the month of April.

You can find a copy to print out for yourself in the folder HERE.

For those that have asked, there is also a blank form
to write your verses on that can be found HERE

Thanks to a sweet reader you can also find the Spanish version HERE.

And thanks to another sweet reader you can also find a shortened version HERE

Another reader asked for a version that was more manly (for her husband)
so you can also find that version HERE

This video made me weep.
What an absolutely precious act of kindness by an amazing lady who suffered greatly.
No matter how little you have, you have something to give
and you may never know how much someone needs what you have to offer!

What a GREAT speech by this coach to his players.
Every American should watch this!

What a beautiful idea! LOVE this so!

A couple texted the wrong number while the wife was in labor.
When the recipient replied that it was a wrong number
all he got was a pic of the mom holding the newborn babe.
But instead of ignoring it-
he and his brother drove 40 miles and
showed up with gifts for the baby at the hospital!

EAT THE FROG FIRST!

Mark Twain once said

"“Eat a live frog first thing in the morning
and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.”

His idea was that if the first thing you do each morning
is to eat a live frog,
you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing t
hat that is probably (hopefully) the worse things
that is going to happen to you all day long.

I'm working to do this- eating my frog FIRST
(obviously not a REAL frog- but rather the task I most do NOT want to do)
rather than dwelling on it and stressing over it all stinkin' day long.

So friends.....EAT THE FROG FIRST!

You can print out your own little reminder as a
PDF or JPG in the folder HERE.
